Welcome to the newly built day treatment centre for cataract surgery at the Vienna Hanusch Hospital. Due to the newly built day care unit efficiency could be raised and waiting times for patients could be limited to a minimum. Apart from very few exceptions, all cataract surgery is performed in an outpatient setting. Patients are able to leave the hospital 1-2 hours after surgery.
